I am Noora Kauppinen, a passionate and dedicated professional with a strong educational background in Culture Research, Media Culture and Communication. I have both a Master of Arts and Bachelor's degree in Culture Research, with a focus on Media Culture and Communication, along with minors in Psychology, English Language and Culture, and Sociology of Art.
Throughout my academic journey, I have explored the intricate relationship between culture, media, and communication, gaining in-depth knowledge and a critical understanding of their impact on society. My interdisciplinary education has equipped me with a unique perspective that merges theory with practice, enabling me to navigate the complexities of the ever-evolving media landscape. Complementing my academic achievements, I have gained valuable hands-on experience in various roles. As a Media Search Analyst at Telus International, I evaluated online content contributing to the improvement of content quality and relevance. Furthermore, my creative flair and technical skills shine through my work as a Visual Content Creator. For instance, I contributed to 3D asset creation for a showcased video game at the EGX gaming event in London. I also developed 2D and 3D art for an educational children's game as a Visual Content Creator at Luon Oy. My academic background and my experience as a Media Search Analyst have equipped me with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. I am adept at utilising technology and proprietary tools to prioritise and analyse media content. In addition to my qualifications and experience in Media and Communication, I am well- suited for roles in data and information management and related fields. My academic background has provided me with a strong foundation in understanding the role of information in shaping societal narratives and cultural representations. Throughout my studies, I have delved into the dynamics of information dissemination and consumption, which has heightened my awareness of the importance of effective information management.
